Jonas

Prof. Dr. Rainer Jonas
Head of Scientific Information of Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research. Chemist/Biochemist, PhD in Biochemistry at University of Göttingen, Postdoc in Biotechnology at Research Centre Jülich. More than 25 years of experience as lecturer, university professor, and researcher, of which I spent 15 years in Brazil. During that time also 5 years as director of a biotech research institute. Since 1989 coordinator of international training courses for developing countries at Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research. Many missions especially to countries in Latinamerica and Southeast Asia.

Langbein

Dr. Joachim Langbein
Dr. Joachim Langbein is an Economic Geographer. He wrote his master as well as his Ph.D. thesis in the field of development cooperation in Southeast and Central Asia, were he worked as expert for project management in several projects of the German Development Cooperation. Since January 2004 he is working as senior project manager in the InWEnt division "Sustainable Technology, Industrial and Urban Development". There he is responsible for the InWEnt-Projects in the field of "Innovation and Technology Promotion" including the project "International Cooperation in Industrial Biotechnology" funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Dr. Peter Winter
Head of InWEnt Hannover; Geologist, Ph.D. in Mineral Economics at Berlin University. More than 25 years of professional experience in development cooperation, mainly in the field of international training and dialogue. Professional missions to various countries in Africa, America, Asia, Australia/Pacific as well as Europe. Since 1999 involved in BMZ training programme on Industrial Biotechnology for experts from South-East Asia.
